After an encouraging start to the year, FC Nantes intended to confirm its progression to continue its invincibility series. The formation of Antoine Kombouaré could afford a new puff of oxygen in the event of a victory against his neighbor Brestois.

But the Canaries' mission was difficult since out of the last five confrontations between the two teams, Brest
had been released winner four times. So there was a perfume of revenge in the air, this Friday evening, in Beaujoire, for an often spectacular derby. And it was the Brestois who had the last word.

Brest imposes his law in the derby

More effective in the two areas, Eric Roy's men found the opening at the eleventh minute of play thanks to Ludovic Ajorque, who confirmed his sparkling state to unlock the meeting (0-1, 11th). Tactically, Brest continued to hold the ball against a curled Nantes team but very vertical to recovery.

A configuration that did not benefit the Canaries. Despite several hot situations, including a shot on the post for Elia (79th), Brest retained his advantage before making the break at the very end of the match by Pierre Lees-Melou, who did not miss his face-to-face With Lopes (0-2, 90th+6). Brest is placed in an ideal posture before his double confrontation against PSG in the Champions League. For Nantes, it's a real stop.
