Bad news for Randal Kolo Muani… According to Le Parisien and the Italian press, his departure to Juventus is currently blocked. Because of a point of regulation which Paris Saint-Germain had obviously not taken into account.
Since the summer of 2024, Fifa has limited the number of players loaned by clubs in a foreign championship to six. However, this quota has already been reached with the temporary transfers of Carlos Soler to West Ham, Juan Bernat to Villarreal, Renato Sanches to Benfica, Nordi Mukiele to Bayer Leverkusen and finally Cher Ndour to Besiktas, to which we must add the case of Xavi Simons, always on loan from Leipzig.
Kolo Muani awaits a solution
However, this does not yet call into question the departure of Kolo Muani. But a solution must be found. Switching the operation to a transfer seems highly unlikely, because it implies that the clubs find common ground for compensation. PSG must therefore find a deal with one of its six loaned players.
Two options are possible: one of the six players on loan abroad is recalled to PSG, or one of the six players on loan abroad is transferred permanently, to where he is currently or to another club. In the meantime, Kolo Muani must be patient. According to Le Parisien, the former Nantes player has already signed his contract with Juve, and he trained in Turin this Friday, away from Thiago Motta's group.
