If there is one question to ask around the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold today, it is no longer really “where will he sign?“, because we no longer have too many illusions, but rather “When will he join Real Madrid?” At first glance, two options: this winter, or this summer, even if the latest information from the Spanish press leaned more towards an arrival at the end of the season, when his contract expires.

But this Wednesday, the tabloid The Telegraph reveals that the Merengues would be ready to spend 20 million pounds (around 24 million euros) to recruit the 26-year-old English full-back this winter. As a reminder, Dani Carvajal is injured until the end of the season, and it is therefore Lucas Vázquez who is responsible for filling the position, without a real understudy. The British media specifies that Liverpool have no intention of selling their player this winter. The next few days should help us better understand how this issue will turn out.
