Olympique de Marseille officially announced the arrival of former Rennais Ismaïla Sarr on Monday evening.

OM are continuing to build a competitive team for next season. After signing the signature of its new coach Marcelino, the Marseille club has completed the transfers of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Renan Lodi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Monday evening, the residents of the Vélodrome stadium formalized the arrival of their fourth summer recruit with Ismaïla Sarr. The 25-year-old Senegalese international winger has signed a five-year contract with Lés Ciel et Blanc, who will pay around 11 million euros to poach him from Watford, according to RMC Sport.

Four years after his departure for England for 30 million euros, the former Rennais is therefore returning to the French championship. Ismaïla Sarr, who will wear number 23 in Marseille, scored 34 goals and delivered 24 assists in 131 games (in all competitions) with the Hornets.
