Reports continue to leak out about Kylian Mbappé’s options this summer, as Paris Saint-Germain continue to look to lock him down.

Earlier on Monday, it was revealed that Al Hilal had made a €300m bid for Mbappé which PSG accepted.

The Saudi club have permission to speak to the former Monegasque, but the Frenchman is not answering his calls. Report, the Bondynois would prefer to spend a year on the sidelines of the Parc des Princes rather than in Saudi Arabia. And this, despite the 700 million euros in salaries and commercial contracts that the world champion is rumored to have.

Still, the Frenchman, who is widely believed to be ready to join Real Madrid, has no intention of going on loan to clubs like Tottenham or spending a year in Saudi Arabia.

Determined Mbappé

The outlet goes on to say that Mbappé believes these rumors and leaked details are meant to put pressure on the Frenchman and paint him as the bad guy for PSG fans, given that he would rather not play than help the club bring in such a sum of money.

Increasingly, PSG’s maneuvers to extract Mbappé or pressure him into adopting his course seem hopeless. The player holds all the power, and as PSG seek conflict rather than compromise, it doesn’t appear to be fruitful.
