In the mixed zone after the match, Al-Khelaïfi praised the performance of his team and wanted to reassure about the future of his coach. “We have the best coach in the world. Luis Enrique will stay with us. We want to build a long-term project with him,” he declared. These comments come in a context where PSG remained on a series of poor results, fueling rumors about a possible departure of the Spanish coach.
Recently extended until 2027, Luis Enrique however saw his future doubted by certain observers. This victory in Austria and the declarations of the Qatari president consolidate his position at the head of the club.
