PL: West Ham pushes Wolverhampton and gives itself some breathing room

This Monday, the 15th day of the Premier League ended with a meeting between West Ham and Wolverhampton. In a complicated context with the terrible road accident which affected Michail Antonio a few days ago, the Hammers had the obligation to win in order to breathe after a complicated start to the season. Faced with apathetic Wolves since the start of the season, the Londoners did not tremble and accomplished their mission.

Despite Matt Doherty’s equalizer (1-1, 69th) after Tomas Soucek’s opener (1-0, 52nd), it was ultimately Jarrod Bowen who delivered his team in the 72nd minute with a beautiful curled shot (2-1, 72nd). With this valuable success, West Ham remains 14th but moves away from the risk zone. For its part, Wolverhampton is stuck in a worrying 19th place…
