After four years at Sporting Portugal, Rúben Amorim joined Manchester United on November 1. A dream for the Lusitano coach, who succeeded Erik ten Hag, after two years with the Red Devils. To bring it to them, the residents of Old Trafford had to pay a lot of money.

In its latest financial report, the English club reports that the arrival of Amorim and his four assistants cost 11 million pounds sterling, or 13.2 million euros. To get rid of Ten Hag and his staff, Manchester United had to pay 10.4 million pounds sterling, which is equivalent to 12.5 million euros. In total, United dropped nearly 21.4 million pounds, or 25.7 million euros, for the arrival of a sixth coach since 2013 and the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.
