Al-Nassr’s new success against Al-Ahli (2-0) was accompanied by new accusations around refereeing, which made Cristiano Ronaldo react.

Al-Nassr took another step towards the championship title. On Wednesday, the Riyadh club won 2-0 against Al-Ahli, one of its main rivals. Enough to allow it to be eight points ahead of Al-Hilal – with certainly one more match – four days from the end.

But this new victory did not go down well in the ranks of Al-Ahli. “The refereeing was aberrant, I swear to God. Look at my leg »launched Merih Demiral at the end of the meeting, adding: “Decisions always favor Al-Nassr. Each season, they get a little closer to the titles. It’s incredible. »

“Not everything is permitted”

But these criticisms were not to Cristiano Ronaldo’s taste.
“I think it’s not good for the championship. Everyone complains, everyone does more than it should be. It’s football, it’s not a war.” he railed in response to these accusations.

“We know we have to fight, everyone wants to win but not everything is allowed. I’m going to take the time to talk about it at the end of the season because I see a lot of bad things,” he added as he could win his first championship title since his arrival in Saudi Arabia in 2023.
