Real Madrid and even the French team are holding their breath for Kylian Mbappé. The French striker felt discomfort in the hamstring of his left leg at the end of the match against Real Betis, during the La Liga draw (1-1). He left in the 81st minute, giving way to Gonzalo García, before returning directly to the locker room. Initial examinations confirmed that it was a muscle overload, and not a tear.

This Saturday morning, Kylian Mbappé had an ultrasound which initially proved reassuring, according to information from DAZN. However, a more in-depth magnetic resonance examination (MRI) is planned for Monday in order to rule out any more serious lesions and to precisely determine the recovery time. The Madrid staff are carefully monitoring the situation and will then communicate on the progress of his injury.
