This official announcement was made this Wednesday thanks to the Warwickshire County Cricket Club, co-owner of the franchise. The 22-year-old will therefore hold 1.2% of the shares, alongside two other structures: Warwickshire (50.4%) and Knighthead Capital Management (48.4%).

Following this rather original initiative, Bellingham explained its commitment by highlighting its attachment to its hometown in a publication Instagram. “I feel like I owe the city something. I was lucky enough growing up to have the opportunity to play cricket and football, but some kids don’t get that opportunity.
