The England international is still being talked about. If Jude Bellingham seems less impactful in the Real Madrid midfield this season, the Casa Blanca player is on everyone’s lips in England. Indeed, he acquired a minority stake in the Birmingham Phoenix franchise, playing in The Hundred championship (a cricket competition). This official announcement was made this Wednesday thanks to the Warwickshire County Cricket Club, co-owner of the franchise. The 22-year-old will therefore hold 1.2% of the shares, alongside two other structures: Warwickshire (50.4%) and Knighthead Capital Management (48.4%).

Following this rather original initiative, Bellingham explained its commitment by highlighting its attachment to its hometown in a publication Instagram. “I feel like I owe the city something. I was lucky enough growing up to have the opportunity to play cricket and football, but some kids don’t get that opportunity. It’s important that if I can get involved in something like this to highlight an opportunity for children, then even better.”. This will probably make people happy!
