FC Barcelona: surreal scene for Marc-André Ter Stegen at the polling station

This winter, Marc-André Ter Stegen was loaned to Girona after being downgraded by Joan Garcia and Szczęsny to FC Barcelona. However, the German goalkeeper was present in Barcelona this Sunday to vote for the presidential elections of the Catalan club which mainly pit Victor Font against Joan Laporta. But now, a crazy scene took place at the polling station.

As reported by Spanish media, Marc-André ter Stegen showed up to vote but ultimately was unable to do so. His name did not appear on the official list of members authorized to vote. Despite waiting several minutes to try to resolve the problem, he had to leave the polling station without being able to cast his ballot. Embarrassing moment for the 33-year-old goalkeeper.
