AC Milan provided the essentials against Torino (3-2), this Saturday during the 30th day of Serie A, confirming its good momentum at the moment.

The Rossoneri were however shaken up in the first half. Strahinja Pavlovic opened the scoring in the 36th minute, but Giovanni Simeone tied the two teams just before the break (44th).

Returning from the locker room, the Milanese quickly made the difference. Adrien Rabiot, served by Christian Pulisic, gave his team the advantage again (54th), before Youssouf Fofana, not called up by Didier Deschamps for the Blues’ next matches, unlike the former Parisian and Marseillais, widened the gap two minutes later (56th), on a pass from Zachary Athekame.

Torino, however, maintained the suspense at the end of the match, with Nikola Vlašić reducing the gap from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute.

Thanks to this success, AC Milan continues and temporarily regains 2nd place with 63 points, ahead of Naples, putting pressure on its direct competitors in the race to the top of the table.

Inter, leader, will travel to Fiorentina on Sunday with the aim of regaining their lead.
