Real Madrid: Raul Asencio injured in the neck

Raul Asencio, injured during the second leg of the Champions League play-off against Benfica, caused serious concern after being taken directly to hospital. Since then, the player has wanted to be reassuring, but today, Casa Blanca announces that he has suffered a neck injury.

“After the examinations carried out on our player Raúl Asencio by the Real Madrid medical services, he was diagnosed with cervical contracture. His condition will be re-evaluated soon.” Asencio will logically be absent against Getafe next Monday.
