Manchester United bosses are increasingly frustrated by the terms of Marcus Rashford’s transfer to Barcelona, planned this summer for just £26 million, or around €30 million. The striker, who revived his career in Spain with a successful loan spell, scored 10 goals in 35 appearances and regained his place in the England team under Thomas Tuchel. The Red Devils now estimate its value at almost 60 million euros and know that several clubs are ready to outbid, regretting the priority option granted to Barça during the loan agreement according to The Mirrorwhich could cause them to lose a significant financial margin.
Rashford, 28, appears determined to continue his career in Catalonia, where he has settled comfortably at Esplugues. Hansi Flick wants to keep him for the long term, while Sir Jim Ratcliffe, co-owner of Manchester United, fears seeing the player leave the club at a ridiculous price despite his contract until 2028. For his part, the England international should also appear in Tuchel’s list for the next 2026 World Cup.
