Quentin Ndjantou is already in the big leagues. At only 18 years old, the native of Arpajon is, in fact, one of the nice surprises of this start of the season in the French capital. Forced to deal with a workforce decimated by injuries since the start of this 2025-2026 financial year, Luis Enrique has no other choice but to launch his Titis. From then on, Senny Mayulu, Ibrahim Mbaye and Noham Kamara regularly feature in the groups convened by the Spanish technician. But that’s not all. A trained left winger, young Ndjantou is also taking advantage of this unprecedented context to grab some playing time.
Coming into play against Auxerre in Ligue 1 (2-0 victory on September 27), the 1m82 right-hander, who had scored a hat-trick against Atalanta on the first day of the Youth League, amazed everyone a few days later by playing ten high-flying minutes during PSG’s prestigious victory on FC Barcelona’s pitch on October 1 in the Champions League. (2-1). What’s next? Two starts against Lille (1-1, October 5) and Lorient (1-1), but also appearances against Strasbourg (3-3), Bayer Leverkusen (4-2 victory) and Brest (3-0 victory). With a performance that is convincing to say the least.
Luis Enrique is under the spell
“He comes very strong, he is surprising. A player with this ability, this mentality and this personality, he arrives at the best time. I’m very confident, I hope he continues to improve. He is ready to help the first team but also the U19s, the Espoirs if necessary… I am excited to have a player like him in the team”confided, in this capacity, Luis Enrique, this Monday, at a press conference. In the Spanish coach’s little papers before the Parisians’ new European shock against Bayern Munich, Ndjantou therefore continues to score points with his management.
Able to play in a left winger role or in a more central position in the midfield, the man who signed his first professional contract last July – until 2028 – represents, in any case, a credible alternative for the reigning European champions. Perfectly integrated into the Ile-de-France locker room, the Franco-Cameroonian is also described by his peers as a young boy “very professional”. With his head on his shoulders, talent in his feet, Quentin Ndjantou finally seems to have all the necessary ingredients for a bright future. To the delight of his coach and the Parisian supporters…
