The PSG group selected to face Slovan Bratislava this Wednesday in the Champions League had a little surprise in store.

PSG begins its Champions League campaign this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes. Double defending champion, Luis Enrique’s team hosts Slovan Bratislava (9 p.m.). After four consecutive matches without the slightest success, in all competitions, Paris is only aiming for victory. The group concocted by the Parisian coach has been revealed and it includes a little new feature.

It is a goalkeeper aged only seventeen who appears. Usually a member of the PSG U19 team, Moroccan Adam Mouak therefore joined the group at the expense of Alessandro Longoni, recruited this summer to be the third goalkeeper. This time, it is Adam Mouak who accompanies Matvey Safonov and Lucas Chevalier.

For the rest, no real surprise on the Parisian side, except the return of Lucas Digne, left in the stands last Friday during the loss conceded at home against Monaco (1-2, 3rd day of Ligue 1).

PSG wants to return to victory

On the field side, PSG hopes to take advantage of this return of the European Cup to find some color. If Luis Enrique was ready to bet that his team would once again finish as French champions at the end of the season, his two draws against Lille and Lens, and therefore his defeat against ASM, did not reassure.

Paris also wants to avoid the play-offs for the round of 16 of the C1. Last year, he was very afraid of these same Monegasques. It remains to be seen what Ousmane Dembélé and his team will produce against Slovan Bratislava coached by Yaya Youré.
