The 10th day of Serie A continued this Sunday evening with a shock at the top. On the San Siro side, AC Milan, fourth at kick-off, welcomed AS Roma, second. Organized in 3-4-2-1, the Romans were quick to shine but neither Cristante (1st), nor El Aynaoui (7th), nor Ndicka (10th) found the fault. In great pain, the Milanese resisted as best they could while Dybala, with an outside left foot, in turn went very close to opening the scoring (17th). Folded in front of their surface and considerably hampered by the Roman pressing, Massimiliano Allegri’s men nevertheless opened the scoring against the run of play. On a rapid counter-attack, Saelemaekers shifted Leao, who resisted Ndicka before crossing back for Pavlovic, author of a perfect finish (1-0, 39th). Although dominated, the Milanese club even created two new situations just before the break but Nkunku (44th) then Fofana (45th) missed the break.

Upon returning from the locker room, the appearance of this game completely changed and Milan completely regained the upper hand. After a first strike from Ricci (46th), Leao tested Svilar twice (48th, 49th). In the process, Nkunku found the post after an involuntary recovery of the chest (50th). Led and in difficulty, the Romans finally woke up in the last half hour but lacked accuracy in the last move. Leao was still very close to the break but Hermoso saved on his line (68th). We finally had to wait until the last minutes to see a new twist in this clash. Guilty with one hand in his own area, Fofana conceded a penalty but Maignan saved his team by repelling Dybala’s attempt (82nd). With this result (1-0), AS Roma falls to 4th place while AC Milan is third, just behind Inter Milan and Naples.
