And the spectacle is there since 81 goals were scored in 30 matches, an impressive average of 2.70 goals per match. The first two days had already set the tone with 24 goals on the first day then 25 on the second, before the third ended with 32 goals.
We have to go back to the 2020-2021 season to find a Serie A having completed its first three days without any 0-0. At the time, the championship had even posted 95 goals after 27 matches actually played, or more than 3.5 goals per match, while the only initial 0-0, between Hellas Verona and AS Roma, was finally transformed into a 3-0 victory on the green carpet. Five years later, Serie A matched this performance with a particularly spectacular start, marked by 81 goals and no goalless draw after three days.
