At PSG, times have changed. Exit the divas, it is now the collective that takes precedence.

At Paris Saint-Germain, the QSI era began in the summer of 2011. A first milestone was reached the following year with the recruitment of international stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.

In 2017, the capital club took an additional step in terms of recruitment, with the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé. That of Lionel Messi will follow four years later for
form a “MNM” prestigious on paper, but disappointing on arrival.

With the departure of the captain of the French team to Real Madrid in July 2024, the PSG squad found itself without a global superstar. Less than a year later, the Rouge et Bleu won the first Champions League in their history.

At PSG, the divas are over

And this, thanks to a sports policy very different from that pursued for (too many) years. The pair formed by the Portuguese sports advisor
Luis Campos and Spanish coach Luis Enrique allowed the collective to take precedence over excessive starification and individual interests parasitizing the locker room.

“They will never recruit a player who could destabilize the balance of the locker room. That's why you won't see any more small stars arriving.” warned Laurent Perrin, journalist at Parisian-Today in Franceduring a chat with readers of the regional daily.
