After having perfectly launched its Champions League campaign by crushing Slovan Bratislava (6-1), PSG will quickly change dimension. The Parisians will now have two major meetings with a trip to Manchester City on Wednesday October 14, before hosting FC Barcelona on Tuesday October 20. Two meetings which will allow us to better assess the level of PSG compared to title candidates. The clash against Barça will also have a special flavor for Ferran Torres, who will reunite with his former Catalan teammates in Parisian colors.
The schedule will then remain particularly tough for Luis Enrique’s men. Paris will still have to face Villarreal, AS Roma, Aston Villa, Como and Galatasaray during this League phase. After a largely controlled first evening against Slovan Bratislava, PSG is now entering a much more demanding sequence, with Manchester City then Barcelona to truly launch their European campaign.
