It has become an unmissable event after each day of Ligue 1. In the days that follow, the Refereeing Department publishes its debrief of the weekend's matches on the FFF website, focusing on certain games.

Sometimes, errors are admitted, and the Arbitration Directorate does not hesitate to recognize this. This will not return the lost points to the injured clubs, but it has the merit of shedding light on certain points of settlement.

After the 8th day, we awaited a return on one of the big controversies of the weekend: the penalty whistled against Le Havre in Marseille, and the red card inflicted on Gautier Lloris for this action.

OM-Le Havre, the verdict will wait…

Verdict? None. The Refereeing Department curiously decided to analyze two fairly clear facts of play: the hand of Charles Vanhoutte during Lyon-Nice (there was indeed a penalty for OL) and the very dangerous tackle by Sadibou Sané during Toulouse-Metz (the red card is absolutely indisputable).

For OM-Le Havre, the controversy comes from the positioning of Gautier Lloris. Some images show that the Le Havre defender's hand was not in the area at the time of contact with the ball. We would clearly have liked the Arbitration Department to provide a clear angle and settle the debate. On the other hand, the red card seems justified. This is the recommended sanction in the event of annihilating a scoring opportunity with the upper body.
