FC Barcelona finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel. The halo is still distant, but it is still a step forward in this never-ending work. According to Catalunya Radiothe club received authorization from the town hall to open the south stand and the Spotify stand for a total capacity of 27,000 spectators. However, the Blaugrana are not going to return to their historic lair anytime soon, for economic reasons.
Reopening the stadium with so few fans would cost the club money. After receiving this first occupation license, the Culés will wait until the second authorization, the one which will allow them to open a side stand increasing the capacity to 45,000 seats. No return date has yet been set, but the end of the year is hoped. Until then, Barça will remain at Montjuïc.
