Tidiam Gomis continues to gain depth at RB Leipzig. Scorer against Real Madrid despite his team’s heavy defeat in the Champions League, the striker trained at the Stade Malherbe in Caen once again found the net this Saturday. A goal this time allowing the RBL to win largely against Elversberg, what’s more after the double from Romulo Cardoso and an achievement from Christoph Baumgartner after returning from the locker room. With this victory (4-0), the team coached by Martín Demichelis climbs to 5th place.
In the other matches of the day, counting for the 7th day of the Bundesliga, Werder Bremen won on the lawn of Mainz (3-2) while Paderborn snatched victory against Hamburg (1-0). A goalless draw between Cologne and Schalke (0-0). Finally, in a match finished ten against ten, Augsburg thought they could overcome Union Berlin, but the capital club held on to a draw by equalizing three minutes after the locals opened the score.
