The UNFP defends Adrien Rabiot against Serie A

“It’s totally crazy… We have to adapt. As always »denounced Adrien Rabiot. Asked by Le Figaro on the relocation to Australia of the AC Milan–Como match, the French midfielder expressed his incomprehension regarding the choices of the calendar and the physical load imposed on the players. His comments provoked the anger of Luigi De Siervo, managing director of Serie A, who considered that Rabiot “should respect the money he earns and be more accommodating”.

For the UNFP, Rabiot's message is clear: “nothing and no one can call into question the freedom of expression of footballers”. The union underlines that the player's observation on the inconsistencies of the calendar can be considered legitimate and once again highlights the lack of consideration given to the physical and mental health of the players.
