Raphinha, Lewandowski, Koundé… Barça is sinking into a terrible economic crisis!

159.1 million euros. Here is the XXL amount that FC Barcelona still has to pay according to the club's latest financial report. A significant debt simply linked to the movements made on the transfer market in recent seasons. With this in mind, Sport details, this Thursday, the operations still in progress.

Among the clubs involved, Leeds United are the ones with the most money remaining to be returned, with 41.9 million euros pending for Raphinha's transfer. But that's not all. In addition to the Brazilian winger, Barça must also pay 20 million euros to Bayern Munich for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski. For its part, Sevilla FC expects no less than 24.5 million after the departure of Jules Koundé.

Barça still owes €160 million!

In the red financially, the Catalan club will, moreover, have to pay 13.3 million to Manchester City for Ferran Torres, 8 million euros to Real Betis for Emerson Royal and more than 6 million distributed between the Polish and German clubs for variables linked to Lewandowski. Despite the club's efforts to reduce spending and balance its books, the total debt owed to clubs therefore increased slightly compared to the previous year, highlighting the financial difficulties that Barça continues to face after years of investment.

Despite this umpteenth bad news for the financial health of the Blaugranas, the Spanish media however specifies that the Culers are also waiting for 64.1 million euros, an amount much higher than the 35.9 million recorded the previous year and corresponding, again, to the sales made. Among the most prominent debtors are FC Porto (6.7 million for Nico González), Al Ahli (4.1 million for Kessié) and Shakhtar Donetsk (3.1 million for Marlon). One thing is certain, Barça is still far from being financially serene…
