European Cup, the Catastrophe Draw for LOSC

If the LOSC will be among the heads of the Europa League, the Dogues now led by the 2018 world champion Olivier Giroud are not immune to drawing two or three major opponents.

Pending the OGC Nice, which fell on Benfica in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League (before possible dams to access the first phase), LOSC and OL will be the meeting of the eight days of the Europa League. The DOGUES missed the podium to finish 4th, while the Gones snatched 5th place and took advantage of the victory of PSG in the Coupe de France against Reims (before being administratively relegated then to be maintained on appeal).

While the set is not fully known, Lille and Lyon already know that they will be placed respectively in the first and the second hat of the draw program on August 28 in the wake of the dams of the first two European Cups. As a reminder, the 36 participants will draw two teams from each hat to obtain their calendar.

If they display the third best ranking of UEFA clubs, the Lille of Olivier Giroud are therefore not immune to falling on the other heads of standard, including some big pieces, namely AS Roma, FC Porto, Real Betis and Aston Villa! The Rangers, Feyenoord and Salzburg are projected by the X Football Ranking account like the other three teams of the first hat (the last two cities would come from the LDC dams).

Two English opponents for LOSC?

LOSC (but this also applies to OL as well as Nice in the event of elimination of the Champions League) will then have to avoid other representatives of the Premier League, Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga, namely Nottingham Forest for England, Vigo Celta for Spain, Bologna for Italy and Friborg and Stuttgart for Germany. French clubs, if they cannot compete, can very well come across two teams from the same country.

Bruno Genesio is still far from dealing with his typical team three weeks from the start of Ligue 1 and a first match in Brest. In addition to the striker of the team Jonathan David, the Gabriel Gudmundsson, Mitchel Bakker, Angel Gomes, Rémy Cabella and Chuba Akpom left the North, waiting for Lucas Chevalier, Bafodé Diakité and Edon Zhegrova! Fortunately, the Taulier Benjamin André has extended. Offensively, Hakon Haraldsson and Matias Fernandez-Pardo shone during the first three preparation matches. Giroud has not yet made his debut.
