Fans of the French championship are finally fixed. This Thursday, the Professional Football League (LFP) organized a press conference in order to present its new chain of broadcasting of League 1. Baptized Ligue 1+, it will broadcast eight of the nine matches of each day. And the prices of communicated subscriptions are much more attractive than those offered by the old diffuser, Dazn.

The subscription will be offered at 14.99 euros per month for two users with a 12 -month commitment, or 19.99 euros without obligation. A mobile offer at 14.99 euros for a single user and a formula at 9.99 euros intended for under 26 will also be available. The latter should however not be operational before the start of the L1 season.

Regarding this price grid, a detail caught attention: ” two users ». Will we therefore be able to share a subscription for two, or 7.50 euros each, with people not residing in the same home? The answer fell on Thursday evening and it may disappoint those who wish to subscribe.

A subscription to Ligue 1+ at € 7.50 is no

“” It's in the same home, on two different screens
“Said Nicolas de Tavernost, president of LFP Média, the commercial subsidiary of the League, at the microphone of RMC. A limitation that may shower some hopes. The old M6 boss, however, added “ in principle “, Which suggests that this point is not yet completely clear.

Note that the Ligue 1+ platform will be available on the four Orange, SFR, Free and Bouygues networks, but also via Dazn. Nicolas de Tavernost still hopes to convince Canal+ also. The Nantes-PSG poster of the 1st day, scheduled for Sunday August 17 at 8:45 p.m., will be offered in clear. The ninth match was kept by BeIN Sports on Saturday at 5 p.m.
