The Liverpool star, Luis Diaz, is said to be in the viewfinder of Al-Nassr, while the Reds are about to conclude a record agreement for Florian Wirtz, from Bayer Leverkusen.

According to The Telegraph, the Colombian star has become a transfer target for Al-Nassr, a Saudi pro league club, after a season during which he played a key role in their triumph in the Premier League.

Although Barcelona was also cited for Diaz, sources suggest that the Saudi club is preparing to recruit it as part of its strengthening efforts for the 2025-26 season.

Luis Diaz to an exotic transfer?

There are still two years in Diaz on the contract he signed by joining Liverpool from Porto in 2022. However, no progress has yet been made on a new agreement. Therefore, the Reds could try to sell it at the best price this summer, which would also help them finance an ambitious and record transfer for Wirtz.

Despite speculation surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo in Al-Nassr, the pursuit of the club for Díaz would have no connection with the next transfer of the Portuguese star. Ronaldo aroused controversy with an enigmatic message on social networks, claiming that “this chapter is closed”, but internal sources claim that the club continues to recruit new players, that the five -time golden ball remains or left. Some believe that Ronaldo could sign a new contract with Al-Nassr, while others suggest that he could opt for a short-term transfer elsewhere, potentially in a team participating in the Club World Cup.

Al-Nassr does not limit its recruitment strategy in Díaz, since rumors have also mentioned a possible transfer of Caicedo months (Chelsea). The Ecuadorian midfielder recently concluded his season by scoring Chelsea's victory in the Europa League Conference in Wroclaw, and despite the interest of Al-Nassr, the Blues would be eager to keep the 22-year-old, who remains an important element of their plans.
