Paris Saint-Germain is in the final! And the least we can say is that it is completely deserved, as Luis Enrique's men are shining this season. The Spanish coach managed to build a perfectly oiled collective that turns wonderfully, in which individuals flourish. After getting big pieces like Liverpool or Arsenal, the capital's club will challenge Inter in the final and is therefore only a victory to obtain this Grail that is the cup with the big ears so coveted for more than a decade already. Inevitably, Parisian supporters were more than happy with the final whistle.

They were thus thousands to invade the streets of Paris to celebrate and share their joy. And unfortunately, as too often during this type celebrations, it is necessary to deplore incidents, vandalism and clashes with the police. As the Paris prefecture indicates, 43 people were arrested in the evening, mainly in the surroundings of the Champs-Élysées, an emblematic place of football celebrations in Paris.

Clashes with CRS

If the enormous majority of the fans present celebrated in joy and without posing the slightest problem, there were therefore substantial incidents to deplore. Shops in the Champs-Élysées district were thus looted and stripped, while there have been many clashes with the police, targeted by projectiles and mortar fire. Some supporters have also created barricades with urban furniture to challenge the police.

A car has also rushed on three people injured, and one of them is in absolute emergency. This vehicle was then found burned a little further. On the side of the door of Saint-Cloud, there were also problems with supporters who did not have a ticket, and at the final whistle, some had tried to join the device and block it, but the CRS present on the spot managed to prevent them. A qualification marked by sad scenes therefore, even if it is still necessary to point out, once again, that these acts were carried out by a very small minority of Parisians.
