The disaster scenario is becoming clearer. For La Liga, Dani Olmo and Pau Victor are no longer FC Barcelona players, since they were not registered in time to play in the Spanish championship. The two offensive players are therefore not available to Hansi Flick for the second part of the season. Barcelona management is still hoping for a miracle, with an appeal filed with the Federation, but everything indicates that the latter will also say no.
So what will Dani Olmo do? As indicated Relevothe former RB Leizpig has a number of options available. The first would simply be to agree to stay at Barcelona without playing. Six months without setting foot on the pitch for the Spanish international therefore; a sacrifice that he could assume according to the Spanish media. According to Sporthe could not even play in the Champions League or the Copa del Rey, since it is La Liga which distributes the licenses to participate in these competitions even if it does not organize them…
Leaving to return?
The second possibility is the one that everyone is waiting for: that the registration can finally be made, and that Dani Olmo can continue to enjoy under the Blaugrana tunic. But she seems to be moving further and further away. Which leads us to the third option: terminating his contract with the Catalan team. His agent recently confided that it was not planned, but inevitably, at that time, the Olmo clan thought that the player was going to be registered and still had confidence in Laporta.
