PSG seeks to strengthen its offensive sector during the winter transfer window. With the very probable departure of Randal Kolo Muani in January, Parisian leaders are multiplying avenues to compensate for this possible loss. Among their priorities, a rising Premier League star: Matheus Cunha, Brazilian striker playing for Wolverhampton.

A target of 80 million euros

According to the Spanish media Fichajes, PSG would be ready to pay 80 million euros to attract Cunha to Paris. A Brazilian international with 11 caps, Cunha has impressed this season, notably scoring a direct corner against Manchester United on Boxing Day. A rare gesture which attracted the attention of major European clubs.

Having played for Hertha Berlin and Atlético Madrid, Cunha is known for his versatility and his ability to play both up front and in support. His profile is also of interest to Manchester United and Arsenal, which promises a fierce battle for his transfer.

Luis Enrique could soon get reinforcements at PSG.

PSG wants to hit hard in the Premier League

But Cunha is not the only Parisian target. The club are also closely monitoring Newcastle’s Swedish striker Alexander Isak. To recruit him, PSG would be ready to break the bank by offering an astronomical sum of 180 million euros. With his regular performances and his impact in the English championship, the Scandinavian represents a choice option to strengthen the Parisian attack.

With these two tracks, PSG clearly displays its ambition to remain competitive on the European scene. If the negotiations are successful, these reinforcements could offer new solutions to Luis Enrique and allow Paris to aim even higher, particularly in the Champions League. But we’re not there yet.

One thing is certain, winter promises to be turbulent at the Parc des Princes, and the coming days will be crucial in defining the future of PSG’s offensive sector.
