According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have their eyes on long-term FC Barcelona target Nico Williams as manager Vincent Kompany wants to add up to two quality wingers to his squad next summer. The transfer will, however, depend on the contractual situation of Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman and Bryan Zaragoza.
The report further adds that Williams could be available for a fee in the region of €50-60 million next summer. The Spain international was heavily linked with a move to Barca this summer before the player decided to stay at Athletic Club.
Far from Barça…
In addition to the young Spaniard, the Bavarian side are also closely linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens. The 20-year-old has impressed at BVB following his move to Germany from Manchester City’s academy.
Harry Kane and his teammates will be back in action after the winter break as they take on Borussia Mönchengladbach in a Bundesliga clash on January 11.
