Former Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag is tipped to become the new coach of RB Leipzig.

According to Sky Deutschland, Marco Rose, the coach of RB Leipzig, is about to be fired. The 48-year-old technician is under pressure and the RBL is already looking for potential replacements.

Ten Hag is still very popular

Roger Schmidt is one of them. He is available after being sacked from Benfica. But he does not want to take over a club at the moment. He wants to wait until summer. Schmidt’s contract with Benfica ran until 2026 and he is still being paid.

This is why the Ten Hag option was considered. The Dutchman is available following his dismissal by United last month. Despite these setbacks at Old Trafford, the Batavian maintains a very good rating on the market.
