A match against Getafe at the Bernabéu and things are going much better for Kylian Mbappé. Real Madrid did the job in La Liga following their defeat in the Champions League at Liverpool (2-0), with a missed penalty from the captain of the France team. The latter was once again awaited by the Madrid public, especially with the muscle injury contracted by Vinicius (who will be absent for three weeks). He responded with a goal and a good performance.
Mbappé certainly “lost” responsibility for the penalties for the Merengues since it was Jude Bellingham who converted the penalty kick to open the score after a collision by Allan Nyom on Antonio Rüdiger (30th). But in the process, the Bondy prodigy scored his eighth goal in the Spanish championship with a beautiful curling shot from outside the area (38th). He was just thrown deep by his English teammate.
Mbappé misses the double
Faced with this weak Madrid team (first non-relegation), Kylian Mbappé seemed much sharper and more incisive with the ball (after some fairly catastrophic actions on his part in recent weeks).
