Paris Saint-Germain failed once again in the Champions League, losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. If the defeat highlights the collective difficulties of the Parisians, it also revealed a damning statistic: Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola did not complete a single dribble during the meeting. Ironically, Manuel Neuer, the Bayern goalkeeper, managed one, adding to the Parisian frustration.

Glaring offensive shortcomings

In difficulty since the start of the group stage, PSG is struggling to find offensive solutions. Against Bayern, Dembélé was sent off and Barcola was unable to weigh on the opposing defense. Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer allowed himself a dribble against Dembélé, before his exclusion, highlighting the lack of impact of the Parisian attackers.

With this new defeat, PSG falls to provisional 26th place in the Champions League, seriously compromising its chances of qualifying for the play-offs. Luis Enrique and his team will have to react in the last three matches to hope to save their European campaign.
