This is the case of Arsenal. The English club has registered an important signing in its attacking sector. Chelsea striker Raheem Sterling joined the Gunners in the very last hours of the summer transfer window.
The England international joins Mikel Arteta’s team on loan. The Englishman is on loan for a season at the Gunners, with no option to buy. Since signing with the Gunners, the 29-year-old has made no secret of his satisfaction at joining the club.
“You’re about to see the best of me,” he said on the London club’s official website.
Arsenal sporting director Edu also spoke about the arrival of the former Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool player. “He has experience, he understands the league better than anyone and he has played in the Champions League several times. We really needed Raheem.”
Mikel Arteta has an attacking sector with strong competition. The Spanish coach will have headaches when it comes to composing his starting 11 this season.
