Already courted by the Lorraine club a year ago, Gauthier Hein had chosen to stay in Burgundy, where he has established himself over the years as one of the darlings of the Abbe-Deschamps public.
A surprise transfer
If Gauthier Hein is also very linked to Metz for having been trained within the Lorraine club, the left-hander has often proclaimed his loyalty to AJA. Best passer and second best scorer of the club last season, he had been one of the great architects of Auxerre’s rise to Ligue 1.
