L1 TV rights: The saga is officially over!
The LFP has officially put an end to a saga that has lasted for far too long.

In two weeks, the French football championship will resume its rights. And we officially know its broadcasters for the period 2024-2029. This Thursday, the Professional Football League confirmed
its agreements with the British platform DAZN and the Qatari channel beIN Sports.

“Following its Board of Directors meeting yesterday, the LFP is pleased to announce two major agreements with DAZN and beIN SPORTS concerning the broadcasting rights for Ligue 1 McDonald’s in France,” can be read in a press release published on the LFP website.

L1 TV rights: A 30 euro per month subscription for DAZN

“Starting on August 16 and for the next five seasons, DAZN will broadcast, live and exclusively, eight Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches on each matchday, as well as the Champions Trophy and the play-off matches. For its part, beIN SPORTS will offer live and exclusive coverage of one Ligue 1 McDonald’s match on each matchday of the championship.”continues the body which ensures the management of professional football activities in France.

According to The TeamDAZN will market a subscription at 29.99 euros per month with a one-year commitment for its entire Ligue 1 offer. An exit clause is planned after two years if the threshold of 1.5 million subscribers is not reached by the British platform.
