Designated as Luis Enrique’s priority recruit, João Neves (19 years old) has seen Paris Saint-Germain accelerate in this case in recent days. As a reminder, Benfica is demanding more than €100 million for its jewel (who has a release clause of €120 million) and the Aguias were hoping to see the bidding rise given that Paris is in competition with Manchester United and Liverpool.
In recent days, the Portuguese press reported that Neves had chosen to go and discover Ligue 1 for his first experience abroad. A trend confirmed again this evening in the columns ofA Bola and of Record. The two major local sports dailies reaffirm that Neves only wants PSG and not Manchester United. And that’s not all.
A €70 million operation
On the PSG side, the information circulating about the offer made to SLB was rather confusing. Some mentioned an offer (refused) of €70 million while others announced a proposal of €90 million plus a player. This evening, both media outlets confirm that PSG’s intention is not to go beyond €70 million (bonus included) and that the deal should be closed in exchange for an amount close to this rate.

The Game also confirms and adds that Renato Sanches should go the other way, but only on loan.
