On loan last season to Real Madrid, Kepa Arrizabalaga won a second Champions League as a replacement for Andrey Lunin. Recruited last summer following Thibaut Courtois’ cruciate ligament rupture, the former Bilbao player ultimately failed to keep the Merengues’ goal for long and was quickly replaced by the Ukrainian goalkeeper, who was masterful throughout the year. Back at Chelsea a few days ago, the 29-year-old Spanish goalkeeper is not going to last long in London.

Under contract until 2025 with the Blues, Kepa will leave the club this summer. And the first proposal came from Saudi Arabia and more precisely from Al-Ittihad. However, the offer from the club of Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté was refused by Chelsea according to information from The Athletic. Discussions are nevertheless continuing between the two clubs while other teams are also on the trail of the Spanish goalkeeper according to our English-speaking colleagues.
