During the festivities following the Coupe de France final, Bradley Barcola lifted the trophy towards the Lyon corner. It was Kylian Mbappé who told him to do it.

For his first season with Paris Saint-Germain, Bradley Barcola will have added three titles to his record. The Champions Trophies, Ligue 1 and therefore now the Coupe de France. Ironically, it was against OL, his former club, that PSG won the final (2-1) on Saturday evening.

After this victory, the 21-year-old winger took the liberty of stopping his training club. After lifting the trophy in front of the Parisian supporters, Barcola turned around to do the same thing towards the corner where the Lyonnais were. If we look closely, we see that it is Kylian Mbappé who encourages him to make this gesture.

Barcola hurt his former club

We knew that the story had ended badly between Barcola and OL. After the call-up of the native of Villeurbanne for Euro 2024, the player’s brother took the liberty of criticizing all those who had questioned this career choice.

On the pitch, Barcola had a good match in this final between PSG and Lyon. On his left wing, the Parisian winger made his direct opponent, Clinton Mata, suffer. He didn’t score or make an assist, but Barcola was the penultimate player on his team to touch the ball on goals from Ousmane Dembélé and Fabian Ruiz.

After a few days of rest, Barcola will now join the French team for his first call-up with the France A team, that of Didier Deschamps.
