The Gambardella Cup final between OM and ASNL was interrupted shortly after the hour mark as the Marseille goalkeeper received a projectile from the kop reserved for PSG fans.

On the sidelines of the Coupe de France final between Paris and Lyon, this Saturday in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, OM and AS Nancy-Lorraine face each other in the Gambardella Cup final. A match played in a tense atmosphere, with PSG and OL supporters showing hostility towards the Marseille U19s.

After a first period marked by numerous insulting chants towards the Olympians, projectile throwing was observed at the start of the second act. Targeted, the OM goalkeeper reported it the first time to the refereeing body, then a second time after wiping a stick (probably to support a flag).

The central referee of the match, Mr. Bovolenta, then took the decision to suspend the final, asking the 22 players to return to the locker room for a quarter of an hour. Any further interruption, however, will result in the final end of the game. After 65 minutes of play, OM leads 2-1.
