Sidelined from the field for several months, Presnel Kimpembe had a blank season. The Parisian defender has not played a single meeting this season with the capital club.
Worse, he barely made an appearance at training at the PSG Campus. But this Thursday, the French international made his comeback on the pitch. The red and blue number 3 participated in Luis Enrique’s session.
Although he participated in a few exercises with the rest of his teammates, he then continued training individually. Good news for the French champion although his presence does not mean that he will be in the PSG group for the Coupe de France final this Saturday evening in Lille.
Important summer preparation
A priori and despite his return to training, Presnel Kimpembe should not appear in Luis Enrique’s group this Saturday for the Coupe de France final. The Parisian titi will therefore return during the next financial year where he should be present from the start for summer preparation.
A preparation which will be very important for him in order to return to a good level but above all to regain his place in the squad. With the injury to Lucas Hernandez he should be part of the rotation and after minutes of play during the preparation matches if all goes well.
What is certain is that this is good news for the club and Luis Enrique who will be able to count on one more high-level defender in his group.
