OL-PSG: No final for Lopes

Anthony Lopes perhaps played his last match in the Lyon jersey, Sunday evening against Strasbourg.

Taken by emotion, Anthony Lopes left the pitch at Groupama Stadium in tears on Sunday after OL’s victory over RCSA in the 34e and last day of Ligue 1 (2-1).

This match was perhaps the last among Les Gones for the 33-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper, who has been playing in the Rhône cage since 2012, a pure product of the Lyon training center.

If OL are not finished with their season – facing PSG next Saturday in the final of the Coupe de France – it will be without Anthony Lopes that the circle will be completed.

Pierre Sage made his decision this Wednesday, announces L’Equipe: the last Brazilian rampart Lucas Perri will start against Paris this weekend, as in the previous rounds in this Coupe de France. The OL coach announced his choice to the players concerned.
