FC Barcelona logically still has a hangover. Even four days later, it’s still difficult to think of anything else and get back up after suffering a collective wreck in the Champions League at home, what’s more, against Paris Saint-Germain, a big European rival. However, Xavi Hernández and his group had to quickly move on before a very important Clasico for the final sprint to the title of Champion of Spain, at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In front of the media, on the eve of this Spanish shock, the Blaugrana coach was positive for the end of the season: “It’s the most important match. You have to win to put pressure on. If we win, we would be on five points. I think of a positive scenario, of victory. My thinking is positive. We’re going to go out and win the game.”, he explained, he who will leave his favorite club at the end of the season. But Xavi then returned to the debacle against PSG and admitted he made mistakes.

Xavi Hernandez regrets his attitude

“Against PSG, I should have controlled my frustration more. There is a lot of tension, we see the injustice. We did not minimize our mistakes and it cost us dearly. The situation was favorable and we let them win. We weren’t good. We made mistakes, I made them too. We must be self-critical. We will come back to the Champions League and we will fight again (…) Talking about the referees does not help me. I hope it goes unnoticed against Real and that they make all the right decisions.”he first explained about his behavior.
