OGC Nice settled for a draw in Reims this Sunday as part of the 28th day of L1 (0-0). This while the MHSC pushed Lorient to the bottom of the table (2-0).

The people of Nice have had a hard time moving forward in recent weeks. Over the past nine days of the championship, the Aiglons have barely won one match, forced to share points this Sunday in Reims, on behalf of the 28e act of Ligue 1. A goalless draw which does not suit either team, and especially not the Gym.

Fifth in the elite, Nice remains five lengths from the Top 4, only one point ahead of Lens – four ahead of its opponent of the day; a Champagne club which climbs to seventh place in the ranking, just ahead of OM, eighth before the confrontation between Monaco and Rennes.

Lorient sinks

In the second part of the table, Toulouse and Strasbourg neutralize each other with a scoreless draw, thus remaining confined to the 11e and 12e echelons, in the same unit, far in front of a red zone pushed back to seven points while the Lorientais fell at the same time in Montpellier.

Surprised by Savanier (55e on penalty) and Karamoh (90e), the Merlus lost 2-0 at La Mosson, missing an opportunity to temporarily escape the relegation zone, they who occupy 16e and penultimate place in the championship, synonymous with the play-offs. The MHSC, on the other hand, is six steps ahead of its challenger of the day. A great operation from the perspective of maintenance.
