Back in South Korea for the first time since his altercation with Heung-min Son during the Asian Cup of Nations, Kang-in Lee was expected around the corner. Invited by the federation to apologize, the PSG player did so this morning before his team's training. Indeed, he held a press conference and said a few words to express his regrets. His words are relayed by Sports Chosun. “First of all, I would like to thank Hwang Seon-hong for giving me this opportunity. You gave me so much love, so much interest and so much support during the Asian Cup, but I want to tell you that I am very sorry for not being able to repay you and for disappointing you.”

He added : “I also learned a lot from this opportunity. I think everyone's bitter comments will be of great help to me in the future, and I think this is a time with a lot of reflection. From now on, I will not only become a good footballer, but also a better person, more useful to the team and more exemplary. I will do my best to achieve this.” After the words, it's time for action for the 23-year-old player, who will be keen to respond on the pitch during the double confrontation against Thailand.
