He shines with Juventus, and it is only natural that he is always present in Didier Deschamps' lists. The 28-year-old midfielder, however, is at the end of his contract with the Old Lady in June, and his extension has not yet been finalized. At a press conference with France, the Parisian titi spoke about his future and the rumors which mentioned a return to Paris.

“I have not decided anything personally about my future. It's true that last year I stayed at Juventus knowing that we wouldn't play in the European Cup. It was an important choice on my part. Next season we should play the Champions League and also participate in the Club World Cup, so these are things that come into my thinking but I really haven't made a decision on that. I'm waiting to be able to finish the season and then we'll discuss it with the club and I'll see at that time. For now, I'm trying to stay focused, come back from my little physical problem, finish well and prepare well for the Euro. I'm in no hurry to make a decision. I will have to think carefully since I am also arriving at an important age in my career, I feel good. I feel in full possession of my means and it will be important to make the right choice. And on the captaincy of the Blues, being in the French team as I was at Juventus would be proof that I have reached another level. The coach knows me very well, we discuss many points and he will decide”he explained, before responding to the PSG rumor: “It’s true that since I left for Juve, I think that every summer my name is associated with PSG. It's very flattering on the one hand. Afterwards, it still remains complicated when we know how it ended. Of course, as I said before, in football you shouldn't close any doors. But it won’t be my priority in any case”.
