An offensive track for Paris Saint-Germain in the Premier League is cooling…

Bernardo Silva was the great architect of Manchester City's victory against Newcastle (2-0) in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this Sunday. The Portuguese attacking midfielder scored twice on two blocked shots to offer the Cityzens qualification.

A performance which earned Bernardo Silva the praise of his coach Pep Guardiola. “Everyone loves him and we want him. Even when the goals are deflected shots,” declared the Spanish technician at a press conference.

A strong choice

As a reminder, Bernardo Silva was courted by Paris Saint-Germain last summer, but he ultimately decided to extend his contract with City until June 2026. A choice that Guardiola can only congratulate.

“He is really important for us and the fact that he stays is very, very important,” confided the Skyblues coach.
